Seth is Executive Director of MetroWest Mediation Services. He has been active in community mediation in Massachusetts since 2008, completing a practicum with the Cambridge Dispute Settlement Center, mediating on the district court panel of the Middlesex Law Center in Lowell, and serving as the Peer Mediation Coordinator at North Shore Community Mediation Center. Seth completed his Basic Mediation Training at Brown University where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. He earned an M.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies at University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he also taught a graduate-level course on Mediation: Theory and Practice.
Eric received his MA in Conflict Resolution & Near Eastern Studies from the Heller School for Social Policy at Brandeis University. He has mediated small claims and summary process cases in courts throughout Greater Boston. Eric has 7+ years experience as a youth educator and has developed conflict resolution training for several institutions in Greater Boston. Eric is the instructor of the Advanced Mediation Course at Brandeis University.
Li coordinates the Housing Mediation Program which provides mediation to landlords and tenants in eviction cases. Part of a state-wide homelessness diversion initiative, this program works with renters and landlords in both pre-court and court settings. Prior to this role, Li has been working as a volunteer mediator for Small Claims cases with MWI and MWMS for several years. Li is also trained in divorce, summary process, and permanency mediations. Li earned a BS in Electrical Engineering, a MS in statistics, and a JD. She is a licensed member in the California bar association.
Awa provides interpretation and translation for intakes and mediations for housing, divorce and Small Claims cases. Awa holds her M.A. from Syracuse University in French and Spanish Language, Literature, and Linguistics. Recently trained as a mediator, she is completing her practicum with MetroWest Mediation. She has extensive experience teaching languages in schools, working with students from primary and secondary levels.
Graziela provides provides interpretation and translation for intakes and mediations for housing, divorce and Small Claims cases. She has a Bachelors in Peace & Conflict Resolution from UMass Lowell and has completed training in Mediation and Conflict Management at Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation and is a recent trainee with MetroWest Mediation Services. Trained as a legal and medical Portuguese interpreter, Graziela previously worked in the IT field for 15 years as a System Administrator.

Peter Altieri – Board President
Peter is a Human Resources Professional at Bose Corporation, where he has worked since 2002. Peter received mediation training in 2005 and is also on the mediation roster of North Central Mediation Services of Leominster, MA.
Carl Solomont – Board Vice-President
Carl is a partner of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Boston. Carl has been handling complex litigation, class action and regulatory matters for a broad range of financial institutions, real estate developers, and other public and private companies for 20 years. Carl is a trained mediator.
Jill Mack – Board Treasurer
Jill has over 25 years working in accounting and holds a BS in Accounting and Management from Northeastern University and an MSF from Bentley University. She is an experienced dancer and choreographer and is a founding board member of a Common Thread Theatre Company.
Melinda Milberg – Board Clerk/Secretary
Melinda (Mindy) is an attorney, mediator, arbitrator and trainer with over 40 years’ experience and a solo practice in Natick. She is the past President of the New England Association of Conflict Resolution, past President of Women’s Bar Association and past Co-Chair of Boston Bar Association ADR Committee.
Andrea DeMayo Clancy
Andrea has experience working in the legislative branch of government, in public and community relations, religious education and program administration. She received her M.Ed. from Boston College and is an active mediator and volunteer in education, animal welfare and hunger and housing programs.
Alan Finkel
Alan is a Criminal Defense Attorney who lives and practices in Framingham. He is a Fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and American Bar Foundation.
Susan Getman
Susan is the founder of Catalist Consulting Partner LLC, where she works with public and non-profit human service organizations. She has held leadership roles in municipal and state government as well as non-profit organizations.
Robert Smith
Robert is a Professor of Law at Suffolk University Law School, where he previously served as Dean of the Law School. Prof. Smith has been an active mediator since 1992 and is a mediation trainer in two community mediation programs and a high school peer mediation program.
